Composer, guitarist, writer and psychiatrist, Kevin Swierkosz-Lenart was born in Velletri (Italy) in 1988. Kevin obtained his classical guitar diploma at the Conservatorio S. Cecilia in 2012, alongside his degree in Medicine from Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2013. At the moment, he is serving as an adjunct head physician of the psychogeriatrics department at the University Hospital in Lausanne(Switzerland).
From 2016, Kevin has been studying composition supervised by Angelo Gilardino and Dusan Bogdanovic. His music has been played by Alberto Mesirca, Cristiano Porqueddu, Angelo Colone, Francesco Dominici Buraccini, Giovanni Martinelli and Lorenzo Micheli Pucci. His Variazioni su El Testament d’Amelia will be recorded by Cristiano Porqueddu as a part of the Novecento Guitar Variations collection, which is going to be published by Brilliant Classics in the near future. His scientific and musical activity has always been accompanied by a strong interest in literature, which led him to publish in 2017 his first novel, Adamo, available on Amazon.
